While we don't expect to see the Apple Glass anytime soon, the rumour windmill has begun picking up information steadily over a couple of days already. According to ever-reliable Jon Prosser, we have gotten some new juicy details about the Apple Glass. Without further ado, here's what we know so far.
According to Jon, he said that the Apple Glass' lenses will be able to show display and a user can control certain action and task by gestures. We don't know if this means using hand or head gestures, but from our last rumour news, it is the latter. Interestingly, there won't be any cameras but the glass will rely on a LiDAR sensor which is seen on the latest Apple iPad series.

The user interface has a new name too called Starboard (originally, it was called realityOS) and all the data will be processed on the iPhone series. Wireless charging is available and the glasses might make its debut in between Q4 2021 - Q1 2022. In terms of cost, it's said to cost $499 (~RM2173) plus the cost of prescription lenses. Yikes, that's one expensive glasses there.
Lastly, Jon said that the Apple Glass was supposed to appear in this year's annual Apple event in September but with the on-going pandemic, it was pushed back until next year. Since this is just a rumour, do take it with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
