A closer look at the iOS 18.4 beta’s codes revealed that Apple is integrating another AI model into Apple Intelligence. This AI model is Google Gemini, which would be the second AI model consumers can use for more complicated assistance via Apple Intelligence.
Spotted by Aaron Perris on X, the code revealed that Google is one of the two choices for third-party AI models on Apple Intelligence. Alongside Google is OpenAI, which is not much of a surprise as OpenAI’s ChatGPT is currently the only AI model integrated with Apple Intelligence.
As shared by 9to5Mac, Apple’s Craig Federighi had previously touted Google Gemini as one of the AI models that would be integrated with Apple Intelligence.
