Today, the Apple Malaysia official website has listed a new accessory called the MagSafe Battery Pack. At the price of RM479, this MagSafe Battery Pack is only compatible with the current iPhone 12 series but the delivery date is currently unavailable.
As the name suggests, this battery pack can charge wirelessly thanks to the MagSafe feature. While the website didn't officially say how much mAh it has, it did recommend using a 20W or higher USB-C power adapter and USB-C to lightning cable to recharge the MagSafe Battery Pack. It can be charged faster when using a 27W or higher charger whereas the minimum is 15W.
As aforementioned, there is no delivery date yet but it will definitely come to Malaysia at one point. Do also note that the power adapter and cable do not come with the MagSafe Battery Pack as well. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
