While many Apple fans favour iPods, the Beat Studio earphones have a following too. Now an Apple-owned company, Beat Studio has some earbuds and headphones under the Apple Powerbeats series. The latest model expected to launch soon is the Powerbeats Pro 2.

According to Mark Gurman (via MacRumors), Apple plans to unveil the Powerbeats Pro 2 on 11 February 2025. It's expected to feature the same Apple H2 custom audio chip, which means superior active noise cancelling compared to its predecessor. The Powerbeats Pro 2 is also expected to be slimmer than the original.

Interestingly, this new model could also have some health monitoring sensors. Gurman confirmed that the earbuds will be able to measure the user's heart rate, and then display relevant data in the Apple Health or other supported apps. On top of that, the Powerbeats Pro 2 will feature new colourways, with one of them being "Electric Orange".

Since the original Powerbeats Pro was discontinued, the Powerbeats Pro 2 couldn't have come at a better time. More details could show up within this week, so stay tuned to TechNave for more updates.
