UTM SE is a PC emulator that can run Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems on a mobile device. Last month, Apple rejected this emulator to be listed on the App Store despite accepting other emulators such as Delta which can run Game Boy or NES on the iPhone. Recently, this app has been accepted by Apple and listed on the App Store.

For your information, UTM SE developers work with the AltStore team (a third-party app store on iOS) to optimise their apps. To avoid any problem of infringement of intellectual rights, UTM SE does not provide any built-in operating system but instead only provides installation methods. The operating system image file and installation file should be provided by the user himself. UTM SE supports Windows XP – Windows 11, various variations of Linux, Mac OS 9.2.1 and DOS.

Moreover, the UTM SE is also free for all users. With this mod available you can now run Windows operating systems, older Mac OS and various Linux variants on iPhone, iPad and Vision Pro. We have yet to confirm other details on this subject. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Apple.
