Apple TV+ is an attractive streaming platform because of its affordable subscription prices and subscription bundles through Apple One. However, the content offered is not as much as the competition, so the number of Apple TV+ viewers for a month is lower than the daily viewership of Netflix. Apple has also suffered so many losses that Apple Original Films may no longer go to cinemas.

According to Bloomberg via Amanz, Apple has recently been said to want to find a way to cover the losses that occurred on Apple TV+. One of them is to offer a subscription plan with ads. Most recently, Apple has also been said to be considering offering Apple Original content on other platforms. Interestingly, Apple Original Films prior to Apple TV+ can now also be purchased or rented digitally on other platforms and the same will likely happen with Apple Original Series. It may be offered on Google TV or other platforms that can buy or rent digital video.

Moreover, Apple appears to still be unwilling to license its Apple Original Series content to other streaming platforms. So, the company wants to expand their original serialised drama content offering by licensing it to television stations or offering it in digital format for consumers to buy or rent.
