Apple is reportedly planning to introduce iPhone design changes every year until 2027 starting with the iPhone 17 in 2025. According to the latest information, Apple will implement major changes in design for at least the next three generations of iPhones. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, the iPhone 17 is expected to feature a wider rear camera module with the lenses still arranged on the left side but the LED flash, microphone and LiDAR sensor may be moved to the right side. There is also talk of a possible dual-tone design on the back of the phone.

In 2026, the iPhone 18 is expected to do away with the usual pill-shaped module for the front camera and Face ID, replacing it with a small punch-hole for the selfie camera only. Face ID technology mounted under the screen is also expected to be introduced on this model.

By 2027, the iPhone 19 is expected to be the first iPhone to truly have a full screen without a notch or cutout with both the selfie camera and Face ID sensor mounted below the screen. While under-screen camera technology is still in development and may not yet be on par with traditional cameras in terms of image quality, Apple seems ready to take this bold step in the evolution of iPhone design.
