According to Bloomberg, Apple is currently said to be testing OLED screens on the MacBook Air, iPad Air and even the iPad Mini. That said, what should you know about it?

The new version could arrive sooner than we think

For your information, this update is expected to arrive in the next year to three years, and not anytime soon. The update to the MacBook Air with OLED panels could happen around 2028.

With the use of OLED technology, it will offer a clearer display, in addition to optimising energy consumption. Currently, OLED panels are only used on the iPhone, iPad Pro and Apple Watch. The offering on the iPad Mini is also something that many have been waiting for.

In addition to these three devices, Apple is also expected to introduce a MacBook Pro with an OLED panel around 2027. Along with updates to the panel and new processing chips, Apple may also offer updates to the overall design of its laptops.

With this development, let's all look forward to the renewal of panel usage on laptops and tablets in the next year or two.
