If you have an iPhone, you may have tried MagSafe wireless charging. However, MagSafe only offers up to 25W wireless charging, which isn't fast by today's standards. The good news is we might get a major upgrade this year.
According to 91Mobiles, new Apple MagSafe chargers have appeared via Taiwan's National Communications Commission (NCC). Specifically, two new MagSafe chargers bearing model numbers A3502 and A3503. Both models retain the same white-coloured round puck design with a USB-C cable. The main difference is the cable length, as the A3502 has a 1-metre cable, while the A3503 has a longer 2-metre cable.

With the new chargers, users of MagSafe-compatible iPhones can expect significantly faster wireless charging. According to the source, the chargers are based on the Qi 2.2 standard and deliver 45W (15V x 3A) wireless charging. Moreover, the Qi 2.2 standard supports wireless charging speeds of up to 50W, so we can expect better chargers eventually.
Would you get the new 45W MagSafe charger once it's out? Why do you prefer wireless charging? Let us know in the comments below!
