Apple fans are in for a treat this September. Not only will they get the iPhone 15 series and Apple Watch Ultra, but they could also get the iPad Mini 7. So, what should you know about the new iPad?

According to ShrimpApplePro, the company is working on a pink colour option for the Apple Watch Series 9 and a Black titanium finish for the Apple Watch Ultra 2. The leaker also claims that Apple is working on a new iPad this year. That could be the new iPad Mini, slated for release this September.

Mark Gurman from Bloomberg says this September will be exclusive for the iPhone 15 and Apple Watch Series 9. He also says that October will be the time for the new M3 Macs. As of now, there is no official confirmation of the release date. As you might expect, there are no big changes to the exterior of the new iPad Mini. But it could come with new internal upgrades.

As of now, we have yet to confirm which SoC will come with the new iPad Mini. However, we knew the iPhone 13 series and iPad Mini 6 come with the A15 bionic SoC. We also know that the A16 bionic will arrive with the standard models for the iPhone 15. Meanwhile, the A17 bionic SoC will be exclusive to the 15 Pro variants. Our guess? It will probably come with the A16 bionic SoC, if not the A17 variant.

Plus, the new device could come with a few upgrades for the camera. Most notably, the Photonic engine. If true, this could be the first iPad to have this feature. It could also sport ProRes video, stereo recording, and so forth.
