Apple could own the Broadcast rights for the new Club World Cup

Apple has already added some sports-focused content to its Apple+ streaming platform and now looks set to continue adding more. According to a NYT report, Apple is now close to receiving broadcast rights for a new FIFA tournament. That said, what should you know about it?

For your information, the FIFA Club World Cup will take place in the United States in 2025 and will feature around 32 teams from various continents and regions competing to win the tournament. This club-focused world championship also includes big names such as Manchester City, Real Madrid and so on.

In addition, if Apple manages to obtain the rights to this broadcast, it will simultaneously allow more people to subscribe to the streaming service at the world level to follow the football tournament. Previously, Apple already had broadcast rights for 10 years for Major League Soccer.
