Businesses are always in competition with each other, sometimes in healthy ways and sometimes not. Recently, Apple decided to take the other approach by taking digs at Facebook. This could be seen in a recently released company document discussing data privacy.

According to Wccftech, Apple released a privacy document named "A Day in the Life of Your Data" recently. It mentions how third-party companies could track your data through different apps and websites. The document even has screenshots of Facebook's mobile app as an example, which is a not so subtle dig at the company's data practices.

Anyway, the document talks about how mobile apps have an average of six different trackers. These trackers are embedded in the SDKs and APIs by companies like Facebook so that third-parties can collect and link data that you share on the platform. Your data can then be monetised in various ways.

Many of you already know the basics in such modern practices, but the document is a good way for you to understand how it works. Once you've read the article, do let us know what you think in the comments below! Also, stay tuned to TechNave for more tech news and articles like this.
