This news might upset Apple fans. The Apple iPhone 16e is the most affordable iPhone 16 model. The successor to the iPhone SE finally uses a modern, square and flat design and, for the first time uses its modem, the Apple C1, supports Face ID, Apple Intelligence and the Action Button. However, one feature that Apple does not include is MagSafe.
For your information, the iPhone 16e doesn't support MagSafe. This is a similar trend that will continue with the iPhone SE 2022. However, support for 7.5W Qi wireless charging is still maintained. Also disappointing is that Apple hasn't included Qi2 Ready support which would allow Qi2 or MagSafe features to be enabled with cases that have built-in magnetic loops.
If you're interested, the iPhone 16e is priced at RM2999 for 128GB, RM3499 for 256GB and RM4499 for 512GB. Pre-orders can be made starting February 21, 2025, with sales starting on February 28, 2025.
