Not only the 2021 iPad Pro has arrived with mini-LED, but Apple's latest tablet is also surprisingly equipped with the powerful M1 chip. Now, the iPad Pro is basically equally powerful as the M1 MacBooks and it brings us to the question of whether Apple will merge these products one day. However, Apple executives have responded to the doubt by saying the company currently has no plan for it.

According to an interview with The Independent, Apple exec Greg Joswiak and John Ternus claimed that the company is "proud of the fact that it worked really hard to create the best products in their respective category.” Therefore, merging the two products as one is not a plan that will be happening in the near future. They also mentioned that the company has the "highest customer satisfaction for each of those products in their category.”

Besides that, Ternus said that the company has never thought of limiting the features of the two products so they will maintain their differences in the development process. It is mentioned that Apple always pushes itself to make the best Mac and also the best iPad. Last but not least, the company also noticed that the new iPad Pro has extra headroom when it comes to what it can do. For that, the extra power is up to how the developers will utilize it.
