Apple iMac 2021 Malaysia Release: 4.5K Retina Display, M1 Chip, and new design from RM5599

Apple has officially announced the new iMac in 2021 which comes equipped with a new design, Apple’s M1 chip, as well as a 4.5K Retina Display starting from the price of RM5599. The aforementioned product will be available for purchase at Apple Malaysia’s official website, Apple Store app, as well as any Apple Authorised Resellers located in Malaysia.

In terms of the tech specs, the new iMacs comes equipped with an 8-core Apple M1 chip, up to 8-core GPU, 8GB RAM, up to 512GB main storage, a 24-inch 4.5K Retina Display, 2 Thunderbolt / USB 4 Ports and it comes with a Magic Keyboard. There’s also a variant with an additional Gigabit Ethernet port, 2 USB 3 ports, as well as a Magic Keyboard that’s equipped with Touch ID at a slightly higher price from RM6449 onwards.

As for the colour options, the new iMac is available in 7 different colours including green, yellow, orange, pink, purple, blue, and silver. While it is only 11.5m in thickness, it comes packed with features including a 6-speaker sound system, P3 wide colour gamut, as well as an FHD FaceTime camera located above the display making it suitable for video calls in conjunction with their studio-quality microphones built into the product.

Not only that, but it is also well integrated with Apple’s iPhone, allowing you to not only pick up calls from your iMac but also seamlessly share files, calibrate your display, and have a universal clipboard that can be accessed from both these devices. Last but not least, it supports the new Magic Keyboard with Touch ID that lets you unlock your iMac easily with the sensor located towards the top right of the keyboard.
