According to a Bloomberg report, Apple, through iOS 27, iPadOS 27 and the upcoming macOS 27, is expected to allow you to choose which third-party AI models you want to use on the device when accessing AI-based tasks. So, what should you know about it?

More features will arrive soon

To recap, Apple Intelligence recently included built-in ChatGPT support, allowing users of Apple devices such as iPhones and MacBooks to use it easily. Apple is also expected to add several other optional models, and one of the most anticipated is Google Gemini.

Rather than a specific collaboration, Apple is expected to enable this support through an app offering on the App Store that adds special support, allowing it to be enabled for use for AI tasks on Apple's operating system.

In addition, many are also now looking forward to the introduction of the next generation of Apple Intelligence, along with Siri, which has been given a new lease of life through a collaboration with Google, which is expected to be introduced as early as this year.
