Rumours about Apple's fifth generation iPad or iPad 5 are also growing with many saying that there may be a change in design. While the 9.7" screen size or Retina (2048 x 1536 pixel resolution) display may not change, the screen for the new iPad 5 may become a bit narrower than the almost square Apple iPad of today. This new design is said to follow that of the iPad Mini more than the traditional iPad design.
Other related rumours also include a thinner and lighter body, which when combined with a narrower chassis may mean a more portable and compact Apple iPad. The screen for the Apple iPad 5 may be manufactured by LG Display and Sharp while the actual Apple iPad 5 may begin mass production between July to August.
