Apple has announced the launch of the iPad Air with the M3 chip in Malaysia. The tablet is available in two sizes: 11 inches starting at RM2,799 and 13 inches starting at RM3,699. Apple has also introduced a new Magic Keyboard designed for iPad Air, priced at RM1,299 for the 11-inch model and RM1,399 for the 13-inch version. The updated iPad, featuring the A16 Bionic chip and increased storage, will be available from RM1,599. Education pricing is also available for students, teachers, and staff.

The iPad Air with M3 offers improved performance with an 8-core CPU and 9-core GPU. Apple claims it is nearly twice as fast as the M1-powered iPad Air. The GPU supports dynamic caching, mesh shading, and ray tracing for better graphics performance in creative and gaming applications. The Neural Engine has also been upgraded, improving AI-driven tasks.
The tablet comes with Apple Intelligence, enabling features like image editing in Photos, handwriting enhancement in Notes, and a new Image Wand tool. Siri has been improved with better context retention and integration with ChatGPT. The new Magic Keyboard has a built-in trackpad, a function row, and a floating design with an aluminum hinge. It connects magnetically and does not require Bluetooth pairing. Apple Pencil Pro and Apple Pencil (USB-C) are supported, offering more control for digital artists and note-takers.
Apple has also refreshed the standard iPad with the A16 Bionic chip, offering up to 30% better performance compared to its predecessor. The entry-level model now starts at 128GB storage and is available in blue, pink, yellow, and silver.
