Some smartphone users will require a large storage capacity these days as they store everything from pictures to files on their devices. The maximum storage capacity that the new smartphones offer to the market has also increased to 512GB or even 1TB. With that said, it is reported that the Pro variants of the upcoming iPhone 12s/13 will offer options up to 1TB of internal storage.

According to tipster Jon Prosser, the new iPhone model is still very much in the prototype stage of development but some of the models have 1TB of storage built-in. Those models are expected to be the Pro ones as the vanilla iPhones' storage will be capped lower as usual. The current iPhone 12 series tops out at 512GB and it has been the same since the iPhone XS that was launched in 2018.

Besides the storage, the same tipster has also claimed that the new iPhones will come with a smaller notch, which is becoming shorter in terms of height but not smaller width. The 'smaller notch' rumour was there for the iPhone 12 series as well but it didn't happen at last. Therefore, let's hope that Apple has finally decided to shrink the notch this time after so long.
