So, the rumours are true after all. The new Apple iPhone 15 series come with a USB-C charging ports. But that is not all, the new phones feature 48MP 2x telephoto cameras too along with a number of other features. Read on to find out all the details.
For your information, Apple announced its latest entry in the iPhone line, the iPhone 15 series consisting of the Apple iPhone 15 and Apple iPhone 15 Plus. The devices come in 2 sizes - 6.1-inch for the standard unit and 6.7-inch for the Plus variant. On top of that, it also comes in 5 colours. That includes black, blue, yellow, pink, and green.
Looks like the new iPhone had an all-round improvement
They will use a Super-Retina XDR Display that can go up to 2000 nits outdoor brightness and both phones will have the "Dynamic Island" feature. The new iPhone also sports an aluminium case with colour-infused glass at the back. Moreover, it will run on an A16 Bionic chip with a 5-core GPU.
Interestingly enough, the new iPhone sports a dual-camera system that consists of a 48MP main camera with OIS and a 12MP ultrawide but shots will default to 24MP to save space. Computational photography adds on 2x optical telephoto for three options for optical zoom including 0.5X, 1X and 2X.
All shots with "a person, dog or cat" will keep depth information, so that you don't need to switch to portrait mode to adjust the background. A new Night Mode also helps to boost low-light shots while Smart HDR makes better skin tones.
The iPhone 15 can be used to reverse charge airpods using a USB-C cable
You can also reverse charge your Airpods with the USB-C cable and both models support MagSafe. The phone also houses a great battery life with up to 26 hours of video playback. The price for the standard unit starts at RM4399 while the Plus unit will start from RM4899.
