The Apple iPhone 15 series might have launched recently. But that never stopped everyone from speculating about the next one. Rumour says this battery prototype could be used for the Apple iPhone 16. That said, what should you know about it?
According to Kosutami's post on X, the images show a battery prototype that is encased in a brushed metal bracket. We assumed this could help the heat dissipation process and keep the phone cool. Interestingly, the speculated Li-Ion battery cell is listed with a 3,355 mAh (13.02Wh) capacity.

Moreover, the battery is manufactured by China’s Desay Corporation and features the same J-shape as the batteries on the iPhone 15 Pro series. So that gives the leak some credibility on its claim. We have yet to confirm other details on the battery, or if it will have a bigger capacity than the iPhone 15 Pro variant. At this point, we can only wait.
