By now, everyone has probably heard of the infamous overheating issue that haunts the Apple iPhone 15. Rumour says Apple is working hard to solve this issue for the iPhone 16. That said, what should you know about it?

According to the leaker, Kosutami, Apple is “actively working” on a Graphene-based thermal system for the iPhone 16 series. For your information, this system is very common among Android phones and some brands have used it for years. With that in mind, replacing the current thermal system for the iPhone could solve this issue permanently.

Previously, we mentioned the iPhone 15’s overheating problem is caused by a design flaw. Credible Apple tipster, Ming-Chi Kuo, says the overheating issue comes from the compromises Apple made to the thermal design of the phones to make them lighter.

Moreover, Kosutami says Apple is planning to encase the battery of the iPhone 16 Pro models in a metal shell to further avoid overheating issues. We have yet to confirm other details on this matter or the Malaysia release date for the iPhone 16. Hopefully, everything goes well and Apple gets it right this time.
