While most of the rumours have focused on the iPhone 17 Air. A new report outlines "significant design changes", especially on the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max. So, what should you know about it?

According to 9to5Mac, the two models will be the first flagship iPhones to feature an aluminium frame, since the division of the iPhone into Pro and non-Pro models. Over the past few years, iPhone models such as the iPhone SE and iPhone 16 have already been offered with aluminium frames. Meanwhile, the Pro model features a stainless steel frame until the iPhone 15 Pro is introduced with a titanium build. However, with the upcoming introduction of the iPhone 17 series, Apple is reportedly planning to bring the entire device line back to aluminium.

In addition, the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max are also rumoured to be equipped with a larger rectangular camera bump and made ofaluminiumm instead of traditional 3D glass. While the bottom will remain with a glass construction to support wireless charging. As of now, not much is known about Apple's plans for the iPhone 17 lineup other than the "Air" model.

Thankfully, 9to5Mac has an excellent record of reporting rumours about Apple products. So, it is highly likely that they will come true. Hopefully, everything will progress smoothly.
