It was only a matter of time that Apple will manufacture a device that is similar to the Google Home, and they did. Revealing the Apple HomePod as the last product of the day during the WWDC 17 keynote, the HomePod is described as a music speaker evolved from the iPod, which can also take commands on doing daily tasks via Siri.

Measuring in 172 x 142 mm and weighing 2.5kg, the HomePod features an A8 chipset, real-time acoustic modeling, audio beam-forming, and multichannel echo cancellation meaning that it’s really smart in detecting its surrounding, controlling and delivering the best possible surround sound.
