According to Nikkei Asia, Apple is cutting production of the iPhone Air just months after its launch due to lower-than-expected demand. Previously, in another report, Apple was said to have cut production of the iPhone Air by 1 million units for the same reason. That said, what should you know about it?

Demand for other models is higher, though

However, demand for the iPhone 17 was 14% higher than that of the iPhone 16. Production of the iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro has been increased to meet demand. As in previous years, the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max recorded the highest sales compared to other models.

For your information, this year's model received a warm reception due to the significant changes in body design compared to last year's. Sales are still good, even though from a software perspective, the AI features on this year's iPhone do not offer significant improvements.
