What is Apple Music Classical and can you get it in the Apple Music app? Well actually, Apple Music Classical is an upcoming app itself and here's what you need to know.

According to Apple, Apple Music Classical is a brand-new standalone app designed specifically for classical music. Classical music fans can easily find any recording in the world’s largest classical music catalogue with a fully optimised search, and listeners can enjoy the highest audio quality available, and experience many classical favourites in a whole new way with immersive spatial audio.

With hundreds of curated playlists, thousands of exclusive albums, insightful composer biographies, deep-dive guides for many key works, intuitive browsing features and much more, the app is set to launch later this month for free of charge. Apple Music subscribers can also download the app as part of their existing subscription at no additional cost.

If classical music is your cup of tea, you can go over to the Apple App Store here and make a pre-order before the official launch. Once the pre-order is complete, Apple Music Classical will automatically download at launch to enable immediate listening for users who have Auto Update turned on in their settings.
