If you own a 15-inch MacBook Pro, you now have a chance prolong your laptop's life even longer. Apple just announced that they will offer a free battery replacement for older 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops, but only those sold between September 2015 and February 2017. And yes, Malaysia is included in the list as well.
To check if your laptop is eligible for the free battery replacement, you can visit the support page right here. You can also check your laptop's model by going into "Choose About This Mac" from the Apple menu from the top left corner. Once you have confirmed that your laptop is eligible, enter the serial number in the website given above.
Apple also mentioned that the replacement process may take up to 5 days. Make sure you also back up your data onto online cloud storage or a harddisk before sending your MacBook Pro.
