Apple launches up to 24 months of 0% interest installment offer for these 8 banks

The Apple Store in TRX officially opened last week, attracting many Apple fans to make the pilgrimage. Now, Apple has officially announced that it will cooperate with 8 domestic banks to launch a 0% interest instalment discount.

It is reported that if you purchase Apple products with a credit card issued by a designated bank, you can enjoy a 0% interest instalment service for up to 24 months. This is a welcomed addition to the Apple and iOS community. The banks participating in this offer include:

  • Maybank
  • CIMB
  • Hong Leong Bank
  • RHB
  • AmBank
  • AffinBank
  • HSBC
  • OCBC

Users can choose from 6-month, 12-month and 24-month instalment options with a minimum spending amount of RM2,000. Please note that only Visa and Mastercard credit cards are eligible for 0% interest instalment. So, you might want to keep that in mind.

Although this offer makes it easier for users to get Apple products, you need to make good financial plans when enjoying this offer. If you fail to repay the monthly instalments on time, the credit card issuing bank will charge an annual interest rate of 15% to 18%.
