It wasn't that long ago when iOS 13.5.1 was released, but now we have some news on the upcoming iOS 13.6 and iPadOS 13.6 update. According to sources, the second developer beta software is already rolled out by Apple and we will be seeing some new features. This includes a toggle for updates that lets you choose to download and install automatically or not.

From the image below, you can see how the new Automatic Updates look like (still subject to change) and there are two kinds of updates. One is the traditional Download iOS Updates which will download automatically with a WiFi connection around, whereas the other is a new Install iOS Update. If the description for the new toggle update is too small for you, it basically installs the software update automatically overnight right after the download. Moreover, the iPhone must be charged and connected to the WiFi as well.

While this is actually nothing new for installing the software update overnight, the new Install iOS Update is just an upgrade from on that feature as the system will notify you about the update is installed overnight. On top of that, this new Install iOS Update is said to be coming over to the iPad and iPod Touch as well in the future.

We are just two weeks away from Apple introducing the latest iOS 14 at this year's WWDC 2020. Until then, stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
