Reverse wireless charging is probably a feature that most of us would like to see on the Apple iPhones. If you're one of the people, this patent is here to bring excitement to you. According to it, the Cupertino-based tech giant is working on a technology that allows you to charge through its devices' screens.

Most of the reverse wireless charging methods we see on the market work through the back panels instead of the front screen. Therefore, Apple's idea might spark a discussion if it ever came true. Not only it's innovative, but it could also be convenient for some without flipping the device, which still lets you have a peek at the screen.

If you want to get into the technical stuff, the technology basically works by extending the range of reverse charging. The patent also suggests that the part of the screen dedicated to recharging would be transparent and therefore would not offer a display, unless Apple decides to opt for a hybrid display area. It shows a recharge coil would be located just below the screen as well.
