Apple has spotted having connections with something that is highly anticipated for the iPhones. According to the source, the tech giant visited Jahwa Electronics' new facilities during the first half of 2021, which is the company that could provide Apple with new optical image stabilization (OIS) actuators.

The information came from The Elec, and it's said that the OIS actuators, which combine OIS and autofocus functions in one, are likely to appear in the telephoto cameras in 2023 iPhones. Besides that, the source had also identified the relationship between the components and a periscope camera system. If that did happen, it would improve the optical zoom on the iPhones.

Rumours of Apple equipping the iPhones with a periscope lens have started in early 2020. Reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo was the first to reveal the news. The tipster also initially said that the iPhone 14 Pro would be the first to get it. However, Kuo has now switched lanes by saying that it would only arrive with 2023's iPhone 15 Pro.
