This year, Apple is expected to launch a thin phone, called the iPhone 17 Air, and replace the iPhone Plus offering. With a thin design, it is also expected to bring some changes along with it. So, what should you know about it?
According to Bloomberg via 9to5Mac, one of the things Apple is considering with the iPhone 17 Air is ditching USB-C for charging and going completely wireless charging. This could also position the iPhone 17 Air as Apple's first phone without any connection ports.
However, Apple canceled this plan. The iPhone 17 Air is expected to be 5.5mm thick and include just one speaker as well as just one rear camera. This step is said to be taken to ensure the device is thin and not thick.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 17 series in September, and perhaps we'll hear more about it closer to that date. Apart from Apple, several manufacturers have experimented with devices adding various ports, and one of them is Vivo, through the Vivo Apex device in 2019.
