It's been a while since SharePlay was made available for Apple devices via the latest software updates. Today, Apple announced that there are plans for more apps to be integrated into the function and it will be included in iOS, iPadOS, tvOS and macOS in the future.

According to the Apple newsroom, the development is currently working on integrating other apps into the SharePlay ecosystem. This includes SoundCloud, TuneIn, BET+, Disney+, ESPN, HBO Max, Hulu, MasterClass, Pantaya, Pluto TV, and Starz. Unfortunately, most of these apps are exclusive in the West for now and not so much for the Malaysian market.

At the moment, SharePlay is available with Apple TV+, Apple Music, Apple Fitness+, and other apps such as NBA, TikTok, Twitch, Paramount+, and SHOWTIME. Apple users may even try out Kahoot!, Explain Everything as well as Night Sky to learn together in a fun educating way. In addition, they can also try Heads Up!, Cameo, Popshop Live and Apollo for Reddit to get together online interactively.

For those who don't know, SharePlay allows iPhone, iPad and Mac users to interact with each other through FaceTime and do an online activity at the same time. Besides online activities, users can also share their screens to browse web browsers and photos. Anyone on FaceTime call can play, pause, or jump ahead while enjoying synced media.
