Apple released a new iOS 26.2.1 update that features second-generation AirTag support and more bug fixes

Recently, Apple released the iOS 26.2.1 update, a month after iOS 26.2, which previously brought changes to Liquid Glass, AirDrop and several other features.

 

A new and improved update for iOS users

For your information, this latest update adds support for the second-generation AirTag, which features a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for enhanced Precision Finding functionality. The iOS 26.2.1 also includes bug fixes that Apple did not detail.

Moreover, you can install the iOS 26.2.1 update OTA (over-the-air) via Settings > General > Software Update > Update Now For iPhones that do not support or have not been upgraded to ‌iOS 26‌, Apple also released updates to iOS 18.7.4, iOS 16.7.13, iOS 15.8.6 and iOS 12.5.8.
