With the Chinese New Year celebrations less than a month away, Apple has released a Chinese New Year gift guide in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau with various discounts as well as limited-time products. These include a special-edition second-generation AirPods Pro with a Year of the Rabbit engraving.
As reported by MacRumors, the special-edition AirPods Pro has a cute rabbit engraving on its wireless charging case. Furthermore, a larger version of the rabbit is printed in red on the AirPods Pro box.
The special AirPods Pro can be purchased through Apple online and retail stores in the aforementioned countries and regions. Each customer can only purchase up to two pairs of the AirPods Pro and they are only available while stocks last.
Besides that, Apple is also offering customers in the aforementioned regions up to CNY1000 or ~RM634 off for selected products from now until 2 January 2023. These include the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 mini, iPad Air, iPad mini, iPad, MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, second-generation AirPods, and third-generation AirPods. The Apple Stores are also selling OtterBox's limited-edition Chinese New Year case for iPhone 14 models.
Furthermore, from 6 January to 7 February 2023, Apple's retail stores in China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore will be offering free Today at Apple sessions. Through this, customers can use an iPhone to create a New Year portrait that they can share with family and friends.
Of course, all of these promotions are not available in Malaysia. Well, maybe things would change when the long-rumoured Apple Store will finally open in our country.
