Today, Apple has announced that they will be releasing new 12-inch Macbook models. The new models are already available in the Apple online store now, with three different price tags for $1299 (around RM5011) for the 1.1GHz Core m3 model; $1599 (around RM6169) for 1.2GHz Core m5 model; and a $250 (around RM964) upgrade cost for the 1.3GHz Core m7.
Available in Rose Gold, Gold, Silver, and Space Gray, the new notebook is featuring
- The latest sixth-generation Skylake dual-core Intel Core M processors clocking at 1.3 GHz
- New Intel HD Graphics 515 that deliver up to 25% faster performance,
- Faster 1866 MHz memory (8GB of memory standard)
- Faster PCIe-based flash storage (256GB or 512GB flash storage)
- 12-inch display with 2304 x 1440 resolution at 226 PPI
- 480p FaceTime camera, Force Touch, stereo speakers, dual microphones, and 3.5mm headphone jack
- Supports single USB 3.1 Type-C port, 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0
- An additional hour of battery life (an improved 41.4-watt-hour lithium-polymer battery that can last up to 10 hours now, previously it was 9 hours)
