Apple has long been rumoured to be working on a foldable iPad and we may not have to wait too long to see such a device. In fact, according to a new report, such a device may launch in late 2024.

As reported by MacRumors which sourced a paywalled report by Taiwanese publication DigiTimes, Apple is allegedly in “intensive development” for the foldable iPad. Furthermore, the report claimed that the tech giant is currently working with suppliers for the new product and would commence small-scale production scheduled for the end of 2024.

DigiTimes said that this development points to Apple announcing the foldable tablet in late 2024 or early 2025 if progress remains steady. The report further claimed that Apple has been working on the foldable iPad for 4 years and has made continuous design changes.
