Apple is expected to launch its next-generation iPad Pro powered by the new M5 chip, with pricing likely to start around RM4350 (approximately USD 999).

While the design will remain similar to the M4 version, this update focuses on internal performance and productivity features, targeting users looking for more power and longevity.

The device is anticipated to be announced in October or November 2025, potentially arriving in Malaysia shortly after.

 

What’s new in the M5 iPad Pro?

The most significant change in this generation is the introduction of the M5 chip. Built using TSMC’s latest 3 nm process, the M5 is expected to offer between 10 percent and 25 percent gains in CPU and GPU performance compared to the M4, alongside improvements to AI processing via an upgraded Neural Engine.

Although Apple is reportedly testing an even slimmer iPad Pro design for a later release, possibly in 2027, the M5 version is expected to maintain the existing form factor and display hardware. This means the same 120 Hz OLED display, lightweight aluminum chassis, and options for both 11-inch and 13-inch sizes.
