Apple's out-of-warranty battery replacement for older iPhones to cost up to ~RM391 starting March 2023

Apple has announced an increase to the price of its out-of-warranty battery service for all iPhone models in the United States which will take place starting March 2023. Following the enforcement of the revised price, users of older iPhone models who want to replace their batteries will have to fork out up to USD89 or ~RM391 to do so. 

According to Apple’s official website, out-of-warranty battery replacement service for all iPhone models except the latest iPhone 14 series will increase by USD20 or ~RM88. For models such as the iPhone 13, iPhone 12, iPhone 11 and iPhone X, the current charge is now USD69 or ~RM303 while for the iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and earlier, the charge is USD49 ~RM215.

All of the aforementioned iPhone models will increase by USD20 or ~RM88 this March. As for the iPhone 14 series, Apple is charging USD99 or ~RM435 from the offset and the price would remain even after March. 

As of the time of writing, Apple has yet to reveal the revised prices, if any, for out-of-warranty iPhone battery replacements in Malaysia. So, what do you guys think of the increased prices?
