The surprise drop of the Apple iPhone SE that happened last night really got us. It looks like Apple will be launching new products without any event during this pandemic (yes, not even a live-stream event). Therefore, will we get a surprise drop of the iPhone 12 as well? Alongside the iPhone 12, it is rumoured that the tech giant will also launch an over-ear headphones later this year, and sources are claiming that the audio gadget might come with swappable parts.

It is said that Apple’s over-ear headphone will be able to let owners swap the headband or the ear pads to fit their lifestyle preferences. For example, if the owner normally uses the headphones for sports activities, then ear pads made of waterproof material would be a better choice. The rumour makes sense as other Apple’s wearable products like the Apple Watch let owners swap the band as well.

Other than that, it is also mentioned that this new Apple over-ear headphones will go head-to-head against those premium over-ear headphones that we can get in the market right now, including Sony’s WH-1000XM3 and Bose’s Noise Cancelling Headphones 700. Therefore, you can expect the price range to be high when it is launched.
