Along with the announcement of an AirPods Max update that supports lossless audio and ultra-low latency, Apple today also launched a USB-C to 3.5mm audio cable. So, what should you know about it?

For your information, this two-way cable can be used with both 3.5mm audio-out and audio-in ports, allowing users to connect AirPods Max headphones with USB-C and Beats Studio Pro to 3.5mm audio sources. When connected to AirPods Max, this cable offers ultra-low latency support, on par with the device's built-in speakers for a more optimal experience when playing games or creating content.

Apart from that, you can also connect an iPhone or iPad with USB-C to speakers that have a 3.5mm audio port. Apple previously sold a Lightning to 3.5mm audio cable, but that has now been discontinued. The USB-C to 3.5mm audio cable (1.2m) is now available for RM219.

We have yet to confirm other details on the device. So, we should wait for more confirmation from Apple. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
