As we reported before, Apple is set to host its annual Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) 2025, from 9 to 13 June at Apple Park in Cupertino, California. Apple has updated the WWDC website with some new details, so here's what you need to know if you want to check it out.

The keynote address will commence on 9 June at 10 AM Pacific Time, so that's at 1 AM in Malaysian Time (10 June), and will be live-streamed globally via Apple’s website, the Apple TV app, and YouTube. We can expect new software update presentations as well, such as iOS 19, which is expected to bring a host of new features and improvements. This includes AI-Driven Low-Power Mode, an adaptive battery management system that learns user habits to optimise power consumption, third-party voice assistant support (Google Assistant and Alexa) and more.

The availability of Google Assistant and Alexa is due to the EU regulations, which will allow users to set a default voice assistant. Additionally, an enhanced WiFi connection feature is said to save and sync captive portal credentials across devices, and more accessibility enhancements that we reported before. Lastly, there will be developer access to AI models to integrate them into their apps.

iOS 19 is expected to support a wide range of iPhone models, starting from the iPhone 11 series up to the upcoming iPhone 16 series, including the 2nd and 3rd generation iPhone SE models. Following its unveiling at WWDC 2025, iOS 19 will enter a beta testing phase, with a public release anticipated in September 2025 alongside the launch of new iPhone models.

Besides iOS 19, expect to see and learn more new features on iPadOS, macOS, tvOS, visionOS, and watchOS. For more information and updates, you can visit Apple's official WWDC 2025 page.
