Based on a statement by Strategy Analytics, Apple has shipped about 31 million Apple Watch in 2019, which is 10 million more than the entire Swiss watch industry combined in that year. This is due the to attractive and user-friendly nature the Apple Watch provides, which is very appealing to a lot of customers.
This is quite a step up for Apple due to the fact that in 2018, they’ve shipped only 22.5 million units while the Swiss watch industry shipped about 24 million units.
