This year, Apple has announced a few new accessibility features for various devices. This includes the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and the Vision Pro headset, aiming to provide users with disabilities with more tools to navigate and interact with technology.

Starting with the App Store, there will be a new section on the product pages, highlighting the accessibility features of apps and games, such as VoiceOver, Voice Control, Larger Text, and captions. This initiative will allow users to assess app compatibility with their needs before downloading. The Magnifier app from the iPhone and iPad is also now available on Mac, enabling users to zoom in on text and objects.

Additionally, Apple is integrating Braille Access, transforming Apple devices into braille note-takers. This will support both connected braille devices and Apple's Braille Screen Input, facilitating note-taking and calculations for users who rely on braille. Accessibility Reader is available too, designed to assist users with dyslexia or low vision by allowing customisation of text appearance and providing read-aloud capabilities.

Last but not least, the Vision Pro headset will feature improved zoom capabilities and real-time recognition technology, assisting users in magnifying their surroundings and identifying objects through the device's camera system. All these features leverage Apple's advancements in on-device machine learning and AI.
