After the surprise drop of new iPads, Apple might have another one for us before the year ends. The latest report suggests the company is gearing up to launch new MacBook Pro models and Mac mini PC next month.

The information comes from Bloomberg's reporter Mark Gurman. In his Power On newsletter, Gurman shared that the new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros are expected to arrive with M2 Pro and M2 Max configurations. The M2 Max will have 12 CPU cores - made up of 8 performance cores and four efficiency cores, plus 38 graphics cores. It will also continue to have 64 gigabytes of memory. Those options will be available across both screen sizes.

Meanwhile, the Mac mini could get the same M2 chip as the MacBook Air and 13-inch MacBook Pro, which includes 8 CPU cores and up to 10 graphics cores. It's also said that Apple has tested an M2 Pro variation of the Mac mini, which will increase the core counts. Gurman expects the mentioned Macs products to arrive within the coming months, as the company has historically introduced new machines in November, January and the spring.

It might not be so surprising if it happened as we've seen the news that Apple has been preparing for new MacBooks. However, it would still be nice for the company to present more products before we enter another year. Are you excited about what's to come?
