Apple to release iPhones equipped with in-house designed 5G modem in 2023

It seems that Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently mentioned that Apple might be releasing iPhones equipped with their own in-house designed 5G modem somewhere around 2023. While not much is known in regards to the Malaysia release date of the said phone, it does give us a better idea of what to expect when it is available in the local market.

With that being said, it seems that Apple is slowly trying to not rely on third-party chip vendors in order to provide a more well-integrated and smoother smartphone experience. However, do take every bit of information with a grain of salt, due to the fact that Apple has yet to provide an official statement on the leak.

Not only that, but there’s also no news on the local pricing or exact tech specs regarding the iPhones for now.
