Apple is ready to cancel its own electric car development project due to various technical problems and other challenges. However, the matter did not stop the presence of various further information regarding the cancelled project. So, what should you know about it?
According to Bloomberg, Apple previously collaborated with BYD for the development of car batteries using lithium iron phosphate cells, around 2017. This step is expected to provide a long travel distance, and at the same time offer a safe battery condition for driving.
In addition, BYD and Apple have not released any comments related to it. However, BYD emphasizes that the Blade system technology used in BYD vehicles today was completely developed by BYD engineers, and is BYD's intellectual property.
For Apple itself, technical learning related to this is said to have begun to be integrated into the Apple Vision Pro, and various of their other products. We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. Hopefully, everything will be resolved soon.
