In 2025, Counterpoint Research predicts that Apple will become the world's largest smartphone manufacturer, overtaking Samsung for the first time since 2011. So, what should you know about it?

 

Apple’s production correlates with Samsung’s competition with Chinese brands

For your information, they say Apple will produce 243 million iPhones while Samsung will produce 235 million Galaxy phones. This gives Apple a 19.4% market share compared to Samsung's 18.7%. Samsung's position as the world's largest smartphone manufacturer is beginning to falter due to increasingly attractive offerings from Chinese companies.

In the Android world, other manufacturers are bolder in offering innovations than Samsung. Samsung is still able to survive because its devices are marketed to more countries than competitors such as Xiaomi, OPPO, vivo, Huawei and HONOR.
