Apple may announce updates to its iPad lineup next week, as early as Tuesday (17 October). No event will be held but sources claim that the tech giant will only hold out a briefing to selected media members.

As reported by Supercharged which quoted sources familiar with Apple’s media plans, the briefing will be exclusively about the refreshed iPad lineup. Moreover, no major updates are expected, with only minor spec bumps across all iPads.

These include giving the iPad Air the M2 SoC and the iPad Mini the A16 Bionic. The entry-level iPad will also be updated, though the exact specifics were not mentioned.

Consumers can see the announcement on Apple’s website and YouTube channel when it’s officially announced, though do expect just a website refresh and advertisement videos of the new iPads on the latter. Of course, do take this with a grain of salt as nothing is confirmed as of yet.

Hence, we just have to wait until any official announcements next week to be sure. Until then, do stay tuned to TechNave for the latest trending tech news such as this.
