Asia’s first Motorola Moto C launch, confirms low price tag

Motorola’s affordable line of smartphones namely Motorola Moto C has been officially launched in its first Asian market. Specifically in India. With a low price of INR 5999 (Around RM400), the device will ship out with the latest Android 7 Nougat.

Sporting a cool polycarbonate body with a textured feel, the Moto C will have these specifications:

  • 1.1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737M 64-bit processor with Mali-T720 GPU
  • 1GB RAM
  • 16GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with microSD
  • 5-inch (854 x 480 pixels) FWVGA display
  • Dimensions:  145.5 x 73.6 mm x 9 mm; Weight: 154 g
  • Dual micro SIMs
  • 5MP auto focus rear camera with LED Flash, 1.4 microns, 74° lens, 720p video recording
  • 2MP front-facing camera with LED flash, 1.0 microns, 63° lens
  • 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio
  • 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS
  • Android 7.0 (Nougat)
  • 2350mAh removable battery

Interestingly enough, only the Pearl White and Starry Black options were available but other colour options are bound to come out later in the future.
